In 1974, the “Living Via Crucis Association of Balmaseda” was created with the purpose of preserving, organizing and keeping this tradition alive.
Even knowing that without the selfless participation and collaboration of the Town’s residents their mission would not be possible, the Association works throughout the year to make each Holy Week representation a success.
The Association is formed by a Board of Directors democratically elected by members, and has different work committees: costumes, props, scenography, communication, and participant coordination.
